All-Laser LASIK at New Vision Laser Center
New Vision Laser Center is proud to offer All-Laser LASIK. Also known as Bladeless LASIK, this is the most accurate and safest technique for LASIK. To perform all-laser LASIK, Dr. Gladsden combines the leading-edge femtosecond laser system with the WaveLight® excimer laser. This LASIK technology is highly advanced and offers the best results for our patients.
The Benefits of All-Laser LASIK
All-laser LASIK is recognized as one of the most effective corrective eye procedures because of its high success rate and minimal patient recovery time. NASA and the United States Navy both endorse bladeless LASIK as the preferred method of vision correction.
The Ziemer Femtosecond Laser
The Ziemer femtosecond laser is a highly advanced laser used in laser vision correction surgery. During the procedure, the laser transmits pules at a considerably denser rate than other femtosecond lasers. The energy used by the laser to make the flap, as well as the spot size, are greatly smaller than with other femtosecond-based lasers. The Ziemer femtosecond laser helps to make LASIK surgery more precise, the base of the value more even, and the cornea is more protected.
